HR Operational Effectiveness –
Enhancement
To determine the effectiveness of your operation, with the goal of enhancing it, you must first identify where you are and where you want/need to be.
Sound simple, it is!
Or at least it starts out that way.
Example:
If you want to go on vacation, and maximize your fun and value (time and money),
there are a few basic steps to accomplish:

identify your “interests”; and | |
|
identify your available “time”; and | |
|
identify your available “budget”. |
To
enhance your effectiveness is a similar process:
|
identify the “services” you do or need to provide; and | |
|
identify the “through-put” (length of time it takes to provide the
service); and | |
|
identify your available resources (people, time, money, etc) to meet/enhance the through-put of the requested service. |
